What is coolsculpting and how it can help you to get rid of unwanted fat.
The idea that cold can target fat cells—without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue—was the insight behind Cryolipolysis®, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.
Coolsculpting is a revolutionizing the weight loss world. This non-invasive procedure freezes and eliminates stubborn fat cells. The CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure is the only FDA-cleared,* non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise.
Fat freezing comes down to a science. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die.

Coolsculpting was invented in 2007 and is FDA approved with over millions of sessions performed since then.

What is coolsculpting?

Years ago physicians came across the discovery that when a patient endured an injury to the body the shape of the injured area would change after heeling. This area that was bruised would look flatter over time. This is because there was damage to the fat and fat is more susceptible to injury than muscle or skin. Fat typically has poor blood supply and does not heal as well as other tissues.

Physicians also came across the discovery that children who ate too many Popsicle began to form dimples in their cheeks. This is how Coolsculpting came into fruition. Scientists at Harvard University and Massachuets General Hospital used these two theories to create the Coolsculpting procedure. Fat solidifies at freezing temperatures. When the fat cell is frozen the cell walls break and the fat cells actually die causing the treated area to become flatter.

Ultrasound Fat Reduction Chicago

Forget liposuction, Dvida Med Spa is excited to offer Cavitation (ultrasonic fat dissolving). Cavitation is a relatively new non-invasive procedure designed to reduce localized fat by applying safe levels of ultrasound energy via a hand held probe to a specified area of subcutaneous fat. This is a body shaping and contouring procedure that works by breaking down deep stubborn local fat tissues which are subsequently disposed of through the lymphatic and urinary systems. It is also effective in reducing cellulite, a condition which affects most women over 20, whether slim or overweight. When applied in conjunction with Radio Frequency (RF), the heating and cavitation effects can also promote collagen realignment, and as a result will tighten the skin and reduce wrinkles.

Thus the main benefits of Cavitation (ultrasonic fat cavitation) are:

    Body shaping and contouring
Volume reduction of tissues (fat blasting)
    Cellulite reduction
    Skin tightening and toning
